Although it is originally from Italy, today mozzarella made from water buffalo milk is produced in many countries including, very recently, Catalonia. However, Italy alone is responsible for the production of 33,000 tonnes a year of this pasta filata cheese, rich in calcium and highly nutritious, while low in fats.<\/p>\n
